and the 1991+ Mercury XR2 too -Randy >>First off, I'm assuming that what i've heard is correct: the miata 1.6 is a 323gtx (turbo) engine without the turbocharger, essentially. If this is correct, would it be possible to use a stock 323gtx exhaust manifold to make a miata 1.6 turbo system?
