I too have a walking problem, but thankfully I can push in a clutch pedal.
The security folks at work always wonder why someone who can drive a sports
car would have handicap plates.  I always tell them, I drive because I
can't walk that far, and I choose to drive the bestest funest car in the
world.  (Besides, parking up front let's me show it off, and keep an eye on
it.)

I've also noticed that silver is a popular color amongst those with
foot/ankle/leg/hip problems.
