Miata Mailing List: August 1998, Message #119

GREAT!  Congratulations to all who contributed.  For me, it was
the first big Miata event and it was great to put faces to names.
(There's a bunch of OLD guys out there!)

Round trip (including a few detours) for me was 1390 miles.
Great trip home today.  Blue Ridge Parkway until Ashville.
_Almost_ all SUVs and OTMs pulled over to let LadyBug fly!

Saw several very friendly Miatae on the way home including
one yellow (license NC HRC-693?).  Also saw a Z3 with a very
friendly young lady who waved.  Changed my whole attitude.

The GAP as a drive is unbelieveable!  I'll say more later.

Got to go to bed to go to work tomorrow.
